This illustration was inspired by the covers of the children's books that my mother and grandmother read to me when I was a child. In the 80s and 90s, the cat began to appear in songs and children's literature in Vietnam, with the image of an eternal child (with the little cat who, to avoid going to school, announced to everyone that his tail was sick; or the cat who didn't obey his grandmother...).
As for the scene, I think any parent with two children (or more) will understand perfectly the situation presented in this illustration.
